YESTERDAY: First, this happened. Charlie Mars played an intimate (and very quiet) set at The Living Room on Ludlow. Well, first really what happened was me running in to Charlie on the street in the West Village. Charlie is a very old old old friend from Mississippi. 20 years to be exact, good grief we are getting ollllllld. ugh. He has a new album coming out in August, Blackberry Light.
then this happened around the corner at Bowery Electric. Charlie played again. About 6 quick sets of singer/songwriter typ-ish all night.
oh look… it’s Kevn Kinney from Drivin N Cryin.
yep, this then happened. Kevin played a set. Charlie sat in on piano for Straight To Hell.
